The subtle body connects us globally by the threads of grief, joy, struggle and awakening.
A Call to Prayer by Zaquia Mahler Salinas, is a moving meditation that pulls these threads through embodied ritual, inviting us to honor our ancestral inheritances, and call into existence destruction, restoration and hope. Performed by Zaquia alongside NYC-based dancers Sergio Barrientos and Guillermo Castro, this dance seeks to connect us to the collective experience of diving into and journeying out of darkness.
